Richard is a professional accordionist/arranger: he performed on stage for two years with the Royal Shakespeare Company (Stratford-Upon-Avon and on tour), at the London Barbican Centre, the Kennedy Center Washington DC, the Brooklyn Academy of Music New York; at the Edinburgh Fringe in an acclaimed production of Pam Gems, Piaf (Troika Productions), He was pleased in March 2013 to play at "Piaf -The Concert" joining The Matthew Jones Orchestra at venues including: Birmingham Town Hall; Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London.

As soloist, he presents his own arrangements of classic French accordion music inspired by the finest musette players from the 1920's to the present. This includes the classic chansons: La Vie en Rose, La Mer and Sous la Ciel de Paris, paying particular homage to the original compositions of Gus Viseur; Flambeé Montalbanaise, Douce Joie, Jeanette, (and Viseur's later collaborations with swing guitarist Django Rienhardt) pieces such as, Swing 42, Dinah and Honeysuckle Rose. Also included in his repertoire are many of the fine compositions of contemporary accordionist Richard Galliano, pieces such as French Touch, Viaggio and Tango Pour Claude.

The repertoire can include musette, tango, jazz and light-classical pieces. Richard is available for a variety of engagements including: Restaurants, Weddings, Corporate events, Promotions, and most Special Occasions. Performances are tailored to your specific requirements.
